ISPS Code applicable for all Cargo Ships over 500 GRT as per ITC 1969

Interim Scheme adopted by the IMO Maritime Safety Committee per MSC/ Circ.1157 dated 23 May 2005, allowing vessels over 500 GRT as per ITC 1969 but with previous national tonnage less than 500 GRT to not comply with the ISPS Code, ceased to exist on July 1, 2008. Now all vessels over 500 GRT as per the ITC 1969 shall comply with the ISPS Code.
